Creativity Tips: Remember the Rule of 3

In yesterday's post, I used the sentence, "Embrace the challenge." It's a good, strong sentence because it follows the Rule of 3.

The Rule of 3 works in floral design, in painting, in writing -- even in music. Since I know writing, I'll use three literary examples:

1. I love you.
2. Ready, aim, fire.
3. Tell them what you're going to tell them; tell them; tell them what you told them.

Three words, three phrases, three points in a painting. The Rule of 3 works. Do you need an easy way to remember the rule? That's simple.

Just do it.
